Asal’s Corner – Journal 2
The past six weeks at Generator have flown by and have been a very meaningful part of my journey as a graphic designer. Stepping into a real agency environment right out of school was a big transition, but it pushed me to grow quickly, both personally and professionally.
I established a routine and learned how to manage multiple projects while working with a variety of clients. Each client brought a unique perspective and learning how to thoughtfully incorporate their feedback into my designs helped me become more adaptable and confident in my creative process.
Throughout the internship, I had the opportunity to explore different areas—motion design, social media, illustration, and production. Every task taught me something new and inspired me to keep developing my skills. A personal highlight was writing blogs, which became a fun and creative way to share my thoughts and reflect on everything I was learning.
I was nervous at first. Handling multiple projects at once for real clients was a little overwhelming. But over time I learned how to stay organized, manage my time, and ask for help when I needed it. I’ve met deadlines, stayed focused, and made sure every project received the attention it deserved. I feel much more confident in my ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
The Generator team has been incredibly supportive and welcoming. From the beginning, I felt like part of the team and I’ve learned so much from the talented and passionate people around me. It’s been a truly collaborative and inspiring place to grow.
As my time at Generator comes to a close, I’m so proud of the skills I’ve developed and the experiences I’ve gained. It’s been a rewarding journey full of creativity, learning, and growth. I’m excited to take everything I’ve learned into the next chapter of my career and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to have started it here.
