Grace’s Corner – Journal Entry 5

My final week of internship is over and to say it’s bittersweet is an understatement. I’m sad to say goodbye to the team, but am looking forward to starting my career as a graphic designer and where I can go from here. I’ve really enjoyed my time at Generator and have been able to work on many projects across many mediums. I’ve improved my skills and have learned much about how the design industry works in the real world. 

I’ve completed my internship and my education in the Graphic Design program at St. Clair College and am looking forward to graduating after three years of hard work and dedication. I’m prepared to enter the industry utilizing the skills I’ve attained in class and during my internship. I’m extremely grateful to the Generator team for their guidance and teaching me so much in only six weeks.

The experience I’ve gained from my internship has proven to be an extremely valuable asset to my education. I’m looking forward to the next step in my journey, taking with me all of the wonderful lessons I’ve learned at Generator while continuing to grow and sharpen my abilities.
