Key Website Features

Is Your Website Just…Existing? Let’s Make It a Party!

Let’s face it, having a website is a bit like owning a pet rock these days. It’s there, it exists, but is it doing anything? Is it actually bringing in leads, keeping visitors engaged, or is it just another digital dust bunny? If your website’s feeling a bit…well, meh, it might be time for a serious upgrade. Think of your website like a party. You wouldn’t just leave your guests standing around awkwardly, would you? No! You’d have games, snacks, maybe even a karaoke machine. Your website needs that same level of “oomph.”

Lead Generation: Turning Browsers into Buddies (and Customers!)

First, let’s talk about getting those leads rolling in.

Quote/Estimate Forms: Stop the Guessing Game!

Imagine trying to buy a car without knowing the price. Annoying, right? That’s how your potential customers feel when they can’t get a quick estimate. That’s why a well designed “Get Your Custom Website Quote” form is essential. Instead of a generic “Contact Us,” ask a few simple questions: “What kind of website do you need?” “How many pages?” “Any special features?” Boom! Lead captured. It saves time for both you and the customer, and gathers information for lead follow up.

Contact Forms: Go Beyond “Name and Email” (Please!)

And while we’re talking contact, let’s go beyond the basic name and email. Spice things up! Use dropdowns to categorize inquiries (“Sales,” “Support,” “General”). Add conditional logic – if they select “Support,” show a field for “Order Number.” It’s organized leads, faster response times, and a smoother user experience all around.

Lead Magnets: Free Stuff! (But Make It Good)

Everyone loves free stuff, right? Offer an ebook, checklist, or template in exchange for an email address. But make it valuable! “10 Ways to Make Your Cat a Social Media Influencer” might work for some audiences, but maybe not for a B2B audience.

Live Chat: Instant Gratification for the Win!

And because people are impatient, they want answers now! Live chat lets you provide instant support and answer questions in real-time. You can even use a chatbot to handle basic inquiries while you’re, you know, sleeping.

Appointment Scheduling: Ditch the Back-and-Forth

And stop playing email tag! Embed a calendar on your site. People can book appointments in seconds. It syncs with your calendar, so no double-booking disasters.

Engagement: Keeping Those Visitors Hooked!

Now, let’s keep those visitors entertained.

Interactive Portfolio/Case Studies: Show, Don’t Just Tell!

Static images are snooze-worthy. Use interactive galleries, video testimonials, or before-and-after sliders. Let people see your work in action!

Quizzes and Questionnaires: Fun and Informative!

Who doesn’t love a good quiz? “What Kind of Website Are You?” or “Which Marketing Strategy Is Right for You?” can be fun and informative. Use the results to personalize the user experience.

Blog with Comment Section: Let’s Talk!

A blog provides valuable content, and a comment section lets you interact with your audience. Just make sure to moderate it – nobody wants a spam-fest.

Video Content: Visual Storytelling at Its Best!

Video keeps people on your site longer. Explainer videos, product demos, behind-the-scenes glimpses – the possibilities are endless.

Interactive Maps: Find Us!

If you have a physical location, an interactive map is a must. Let people find you easily. You can even add multiple locations!

Look, we get it. Websites can be tricky. But with the right features, you can turn yours into a lead-generating, engagement-boosting machine. And guess what? We can help! We’re pros at adding and developing these types of features. Think of us as your website’s personal party planners. So, if your website’s feeling a little…meh, give us a shout. We’ll add the karaoke machine, the snacks, and everything else you need to get the party started!
