Generator Design was established in 1996 and since the beginning, we have always believed that change is a necessity for success. Our roots are in traditional design and advertising, which have evolved throughout our years to also encompass web, social media and email. We approach each project as a “whole”, knowing that all media have a synergy that needs to work together in order to be successful.
We serve our clients with enthusiasm and energy, making every effort to advance our client’s visions and goals in every piece that we produce. Alan Crouse
Partner
A former graduate, past instructor and current advisor to St. Clair College. Alan has 3 decades of experience in the prepress and graphic design industry and is one of the founding partners of Generator Design. When not giving his dog Mando belly scratches, Alan is an avid video game and board game aficionado.
Jose Guzman
Partner
Jose is founding partners of Generator Design with 3 decades of business, advertising and design experience. He is a past member of the Marketing and Communications Committee for The Hospice of Windsor-Essex. Jose was awarded the Spirit of Growth Award from the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County for service and expertise in the area of marketing and communications.
Barb Jakobszen
Copywriter
Barbara is an advertising professional and copywriter experienced in corporate communications, marketing, research and human resources. She has won two Southam Newsprint Advertising Awards, received a President’s Award from Southam Inc., and was recognized by the Canadian Daily Newspapers Association for Best Community Service Advertisement of the Year.
Jessica Jagmin
Social Media Specialist
A graduate of St. Clair College, Jess has many years of experience in graphic design and copywriting. She is also a WCCA graduate with over 2 decades of experience in honing her fine art skills. In her free time, Jess enjoys watercolour painting, playing video games, spending time with her husband and daughter, and listening to strange and unusual podcasts.
Ryan Richard
Social Media Specialist
Ryan is a multi-disciplined graphic designer, illustrator and motion artist with many years of experience in the advertising industry. He prides himself with an acute eye for strategy, detail and creativity. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and children, collecting toys and writing about himself in the third person.
Emma McLaughlin
Web Specialist
Emma is a graduate of the Computer Science program at Algonquin College and the Graphic Design program at St. Clair College with several years of experience in web design and development. Her hobbies include bungee jumping and watching paint dry.
Anna Turner
Designer
Anna graduated from St. Clair College with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design. She takes a detailed approach to every project and focuses on solving problems through design in an effective, impactful, and simple way. Her cats keep her company while working as she’s an art lover.
